Ignitor S.E.W
Ignitor S.E.W. is a complete pelleted ration formulated to supply the nutrients required by small, young pigs weighing less than 10 pounds. Ignitor contains high levels of lysine, the first limiting amino acid for swine. Lysine is the key for fast growing, efficient, lean pigs. With high lysine levels one must also watch three other important amino acids - methionine, threonine, and trytophan - to meet the "ideal" amino acid balance for improved growth. One of the major features of this product is that it is formulated with no soybean meal in the ration. Ignitor S.E.W. contains highly digestible proteins of plasma, cheesemeal, whey, soy protein concentrate and soy isolate. The high quality of the ingredients will promote feed intake through better palatability which leads to better gains.
Ignitor S.E.W. is designed for pigs weaned less than 21 days of age as well as for pigs weighing less than 10 pounds. Feeding amounts will vary depending on the age of the pig when weaned. Ignitor S.E.W. should be fed until the pig starts consuming feed well or it reaches approximately 10 pounds. Ignitor is in the form of "mini-mini" pellets to stimulate feed intake.
Ultimate
Ultimate is a complete pelleted ration formulated to supply the nutrients required by small, young pigs weighing less than 12 pounds. Ultimate contains high levels of lysine to maximize lean growth. Additionally, Ultimate contains highly digestible proteins of plasma, whey, and lactose. The high quality ingredients will promote feed intake through better palatability, which leads to enhanced digestibility and increased gains.
Ultimate is designed for pigs weaned weighing 10 to 12 pounds. It may also be fed as a follow up feed to the Ignitor S.E.W. for pigs weaned at less than 10 pounds. Feeding amounts will vary from 1 to 4 pounds depending on the age of the pig when weaned. Ultimate is in the form of "mini-mini" pellets to stimulate feed intake.
Excellerator
Excellerator is designed for pigs weighing 12 to 15 pounds or weaning at 4 weeks of age. Excellerator is available in both the pellet and grind and mix form. High lactose levels are an important part of this ration. Lactose, which is milk sugar, is an important energy source for the young pig. Excellerator is formulated with high levels of zinc, iron, copper and manganese from amino acid complexes. Research has shown that these amino acid complexes can provide growth, feed efficiency and health benefits. Providing plasma in a newly weaned pig’s diet will allow the pig to consume more feed and grow faster if pig is fed a diet based on common protein sources (soybean meal, milk by-products, fishmeal) in part because of improved diet palatability. The growth response to spray-dried plasma is greater in lightweight pigs than in heavier pigs.
Excellerator is designed to follow Ignitor SEW or Ultimate Pellets or for pigs weaned at 4 weeks of age or more. Grind and Mix: Mix 800 pounds of Excellerator Mixer with corn and soybean meal to make a ton of complete feed. During this phase, pigs should consume about 5 pounds of Excellerator as a pellet or complete feed.
Launcher Plus
Launcher Plus is designed for pigs weighing 15 to 25 pounds or pigs weaned at 5 weeks of age or more. Launcher Plus is available in both pellet and grind and mix form and should follow the Excellerator. Launcher Plus is formulated with an ingredient called Bio-Mos. Bio-Mos is a range of mannan-based oligosaccharides (MOS) derived from the cell walls of specific strains of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). The mannan oligosaccharide provides a mannose residue to block the attachment of bacteria such as E. Coli, salmonella and other disease bacteria, therefore helping to prevent many of the scour type problems that occur in baby pigs. Bio-Mos has also been shown to enhance the baby pigs immune system. To aid the digestion of the feed and to further help in controlling scour problems in the younger pig, acidification is used. Acidification has two major benefits. They are: 1) Helps weaned pigs digest proteins that they are physiologically too immature to breakdown 2) Lowers the pH level in the GI tract decreasing the ability of pathogens to grow, which leads to healthier, more productive pigs.
Feeding Directions: Launcher Plus is designed for pigs weaned at 4 to 5 weeks of age or weighing between 15 to 25 pounds. Grind and Mix: Mix 400 pounds of Launcher Plus Mixer with corn and soybean meal to make a ton of complete feed. During this phase, pigs should consume about 15 pounds of Launcher Plus as a pellet or complete feed.
Starter Grower Mixer
Starter Grower is designed to be fed to 25 to 50 pound pigs. Starter Grower is manufactured using the same high quality ingredients as the earlier starter stages with the flexibility of creating your own ration. A new feature in the Starter Grower premix is the presence of Availamins. Availamins are metal amino acid complexes which provide greater trace mineral availability. The unique combination of Availamins adds to the normal nutritional levels of inorganic trace minerals already in the product. Research has shown that 50 ppm Cu from Availamins provide the growth promoting effects equal to 250 ppm Cu from copper sulfate without the typical sticky manure caused by high levels of copper sulfate. Also, reducing the copper level results in less copper excreted into the environment through the manure.
