Dairy Nutritionist

Furst-McNess Company has an immediate opportunity for a Dairy Nutritionist based out of its home office in Freeport, Illinois. There are two primary areas of responsibility: working with the Vice President of Technical services as a member of the Technical Services Team, which leads the development of the central U.S. McNess dairy program, and constructively participate in company-wide program development and training. Working with the Director of Sales, develop new business with dairy producers, provide production and management solutions to customers, and meet client requirements through sales of a full range of feed products and technical services in the Upper Midwest. This position will be capable of working directly with clients or in conjunction with field sales staff by providing them varied levels of technical support. This position will be expected to have, or acquire and maintain, leading edge nutritional and management expertise. The ideal candidate will have a Masters or PhD degree in Animal Nutrition, Dairy Science or equivalent experience in the dairy industry. Sales and marketing experience, a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record are required. The position requires daily and some overnight travel
