Furst-McNess Company has an immediate opportunity for a Beef Nutritionist/Specialist in the Nebraska and Kansas Regions. This individual would work directly with the Director of Sales in developing new business with feedlots and cow/calf operations, provide production and management solutions to customers, and meet client requirements through sales of a full range of feed products, commodities and technical services. The selected individual must be capable of working directly with clients or in conjunction with field sales staff by providing them varied levels of technical support. The selected individual will be a member of the Technical Services Team; and as such, will contribute periodically to the overall McNess Beef Program.

The selected individual will be expected to have, or acquire and maintain, leading edge nutritional and management expertise. The ideal candidate will have a Masters or PhD degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science or equivalent experience in the beef industry. Previous sales and marketing experience is desired along with a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record. The position requires daily and some overnight travel.
